How Can I Help
Why Donate to the Barbara May Foundation
Donating to the Barbara May Foundation will allow us to support volunteer doctors and nurses, improve maternal health facilities and provide vital medical supplies. Your donation will provide poor women, and those from remote areas, with quality maternal healthcare decreasing the number of women and babies dying during labour, or suffering injuries like obstetric fistula, during labour and birth.
What will my donation provide:
- $60 – will pay for the transport of a woman to hospital.
- $150 – will pay for 65 delivery kits for village birth attendants.
- $250 – will pay for a safe delivery in hospital including a caesarean section if required plus all pre and post-natal checkups.
- $600 – will pay for an obstetric fistula repair operation.
Your donation will save lives.
