On Friday 8th December, over 120 people from Bowral, Sydney and further came to enjoy a truly inspiring night at Milton Park Hotel, Bowral.
As Andrew only just got off the plane from his African trip, he was able to share his most recent encounters, especially of three women who were healed of Obstetric Fistula despite the many challenges of ongoing war, great distance to travel and being unaware of treatment.
As Andrew highlighted, they’re wonderful examples of the thousands of women who have now been healed due to receiving the operation but the need is still great with many women still suffering with obstetric fistula.
So the BMF team are extremely thankful that we raised on the night enough money to support –
20 x women who’ll now be able to have a life changing obstetric fistula repair operation
25 x women who’ll be able to have a safe delivery in hospital including a caesarean section if required plus all pre and post natal checkups.
